A participatory film about three Indigenous leaders who face a crucial window of opportunity to safeguard their existence
Three Nations is a feature-length (participatory) documentary film about three Indigenous leaders on the frontline of the dangerous fight against large-scale deforestation and forest fires caused by big multinationals to clear Indigenous forest lands for commercial exploitation. In their attempt to resist and safeguard Indigenous territories and cultural heritage and wisdom, each leader is facing different challenges.
This is a film about our planet, told through the eyes of unheard communities and heroes who are currently protecting the rainforests of the world. This film will serve as a proof of evidence on one of the biggest environmental problems of our times and contribute to the important discourse towards a more sustainable future for our planet. Equipped with the right tools, Indigenous peoples will be able to tell their own story.
