Background
We’re proud to launch our GeoStory Camps in partnership with the Shipibo community in the Peruvian Amazon. One of the world’s most ecologically rich and spiritually profound regions. For generations, the Shipibo people have been stewards of the forest, protecting its rivers, medicinal plants, and sacred territories amidst mounting threats from oil extraction, illegal logging, and land encroachment. Through this initiative, we will work alongside Shipibo leaders and youth to document these urgent challenges and elevate their ancestral wisdom. Using tools like cameras, maps, and Indigenous storytelling, the community will lead efforts to defend their land, culture, and rights. This project is currently in development.
